Discover the Secret to Freedom

When you think about freedom what does that look like for you?  What would life be like if you were free from everything that was holding you and free to live as you wish?  Imagine being free from debt, unhealthy relationships, or insecurities.  What a beautiful life that would be!

Freedom often feels impossible as we face all of life's challenges, but the scriptures state otherwise.  John 8:36 (NLT) reads, so if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.  What is the secret to freedom?  Accept the Son...Embrace your Freedom.  If you have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life, then He has set you free, so you are already free.  It just seems to simple, right?  I believe it is hard for us to grasp because the facts of our lives contradict the Truth of God's Word.  

The bills won't stop pouring in, so we feel bound to debt.

Our pasts continue to haunt us, so we feel bound to our sins.

Your manager won't promote you because of your skill set, so you feel stuck on that level.

In each of these situations, and so many more, the enemy uses our feelings and the facts to imprison us.  We must be determined to just embrace our freedom.  No matter what you are facing today, see your freedom, speak your freedom, step into your freedom.  Do you know why this possible?  Because the Son already set you free!  Let Him heal your soul!

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, There are times when I feel so bound by life's challenges.  Please help me to fully embrace the freedom you have for me because of the finished work of Jesus Christ.  It is in Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.
